PROM READY GIVEAWAY

Fashion designer Daykeyla has partnered with She Ready Foundation to provide a custom-made gown and customized suit to youth impacted by foster care who are attending prom in 2024. Priority is given to students living in Buffalo, New York, or Los Angeles, California. Those living outside of these cities are welcome to apply.

Daykeyla is a brand best known for high-end fashion that is elegant, colorful, and edgy. We promote self-love and positive body image. Our couture pieces are made-to-measure to help customers understand design and the power of a fit garment. Daykeyla’s ultimate goal is to increase others’ self-esteem and help them realize their natural beauty, “flaws and all.”

She Ready Foundation’s mission is to inspire, protect, and provide resources to youth impacted by foster care. Tiffany Haddish founded the organization and understands what it’s like to be within the foster care system. She Ready Foundation serves as the voice of foster children suffering in silence. Adapting the belief of its founder that, “Every child who is removed from their parents deserves to have a suitcase, a safe place to lay their head, and a platform to follow their dreams.”  She Ready Foundation aspires to help make this happen through collaborative partnerships.

ELIGIBILITY

The contest is open to youth impacted by foster care who are attending prom in 2024. Priority is given to students living in Buffalo, New York, or Los Angeles, California. Those living outside these cities are welcome to apply.

PRIZES

Two winners are to be announced on Martin Luther King Day January 15, 2024. One winner will receive a custom made-to-measure dress and the other will receive a purchased suit with optional customization.

The runner-up will receive a special gift from She Ready Foundation.
